UPDATE: Due to the unusual weather conditions, we’ve been delayed building the ice rink, which means it may not be available for our opening weekend (20-22 October). We’ll keep you updated. All other activities will be open as normal.
Our roller rink is positioned in front of the Woodland Cafe, where spectators can relax and enjoy a delicious meal or snack, while watching everyone having fun on the rink.
We provide retro style quad skates to use on our roller rink, sizes junior 8 to adult 12. You may bring your own quad skates, but inline skates or blades are not suitable.
What to wear
We advise all skaters to wear long sleeved clothing and trousers. People are welcome to bring their own safety helmets and pads. We also have a limited number of helmets and pads available in the skate marquee.
We recommend you bring or wear a pair of socks if you would like to skate. We have a limited number available if you forget.
Please note: We advise children less than 4 years of age should not skate. All children under the age of 8 should be accompanied on the rink by an adult. Adults supervising children from 8 to 17 year olds may watch from the side of the rink.
Halloween and Christmas Ice Skating
For some real excitement, we transform our roller rink into a fantastic real Ice Skating rink for our autumn and winter seasons here at Stockeld Park from 19th October 2016 to 3rd January 2017.
Use of our Roller Rink is included in your entry fee across our Easter, Spring & Summer Adventure Seasons.
