Your Guide to All the Autumn Activities at Stockeld Park

From the Magical Maze to our brand new Playhive, there’s an activity for every age group to enjoy. To help you choose from the exciting array of activities which we have on offer this Autumn, we’ve created an essential guide to some of our favourites.

Playhive!

This summer, we opened the doors to our brand-new indoor play area, Playhive! The Playhive is one of the largest indoor play areas in Europe and we can guarantee that it’s unlike any other. Together with our Adventure Park, there is bound to be fun no matter the weather.

With a toddler zone for the little ones and high-level walkways for the big kids, there’s an activity for everyone. Inside, let your imagination lead the way through our connected worlds, journeying through space, air, jungle, and the sea.

Afterwards, our Pizzeria is the perfect place to refuel after the excitement of the Playhive. There is plenty of indoor seating for a quick pitstop before the enjoyment continues outside.

The Enchanted Forest

Packed full of surprises, The Enchanted Forest is filled with excitement for the whole family. From our very own talking tree, Russell, to our Teepee Encampment play area, there’s plenty of outdoor fun to fill the whole day.

With interactive play spread across the entire forest, it’s the perfect time to let the little one’s adventure on whilst the adults have time to soak up the beautiful scenery of Stockeld.

After a fun-filled time in the forest, why not head over to Woodsands Cove? Our largest sandpit area packed full of adventure play. And of course, there’s always time for a sweet treat!

Near Woodsands Cove, you’ll find our very own Gretel’s Cabin, the perfect place to pick up an ice cream before you finish the day with a relaxing walk around the lake.

The Magical Maze

With over 2 miles of paths situated between our 8ft high labyrinth, our Magical Maze is somewhere you can really lose yourself!

On your journey around the largest evergreen maze in Yorkshire, you’ll get the chance to discover surprises, musical instruments, and obstacles you never saw coming.

Made from the Yew trees grown here at Stockeld Park, it makes for the perfect opportunity to get together and work as a team to get to the heart of the maze.
