Is my child too young to skate?
We recommend a minimum age of 4 for ice skating, although we advise parents to use their discretion on whether very young children will enjoy the experience. No child under the age of 2 will be allowed to skate.
All children aged 7 and under must be accompanied onto the ice by a responsible adult (aged 18+) in skates.
All children aged 8 to 17 must be supervised by a responsible adult (aged 18+). The adult can supervise from the side of the rink but must remain in the skating area.
We offer skates from child size 7 up to adult size 14.
Although we don’t recommend skating for anyone under the age of 4, for very little feet (child size 6 – 9) we have a limited number of double bladed ‘Bob’ skates that fit over your child’s own shoes (please be aware that their shoes may get wet).
