The Halloween Adventure at Stockeld Park

We hold a range of FANG-tastic festivities to make the spooky season one to remember. Whether you prefer pumpkin picking or want to hear the wicked tales of witches in our enchanted forest, we’ll have a Halloween event for everyone. 

Please note we’re open from Saturday the 21st to Sunday the 22nd of October and then from Saturday the 28th of October to Sunday the 5th of November. 

Top Halloween Events at Stockeld Park

Woodland Witches

The wicked witches of Stockeld Park are coming to the Enchanted Forest to put a spell on you. From 10am to 4pm, all visitors can meet the witches, stroll through magical pathways and learn the art of potion-mixing, wand-waving and spell-casting. Everything you need to be a Woodland Witch! 

Your kids can venture around the Tangle Tree Climb, Teepee Encampment and Woodlands Cove adventure playgrounds. But be aware – a creepy creature may be nearby to give you a good scare! Keep your eyes out on Spindra the Giant Spider. Our eight-legged friend will be sure to keep you on your toes. 

Grab your wands, broomsticks and witch hats and explore the magic our Enchanted Forest offers. The Witches in the Forest adventure is included in your entry to the park. So you take in more of what Stockeld Park has to offer. 

Pumpkin Picking

Trick-or-treating, bags of sweets, pumpkin picking and scary movies. As an adult, you’ll never forget these memorable elements you had in your childhood. But even as we grow up, there’s still a child in us. 

So, it’s time to get our hands dirty with pumpkin picking! At Stockeld Park, we’ve filled our Pumpkin Patch with pumpkins of all shapes and sizes. For every paying child up until the 31st of October, you’ll get a complimentary pumpkin to take home and decorate. After this date, you’ll need to pay extra – so don’t go empty-handed! 

Mummy Maze

The Mummy Maze offers 2 miles of spooky paths and frightful surprises throughout. Held in the Magical Maze, this spider’s web stands 8 feet tall with over 2000 yew trees grown right here. 

Will you conquer or get lost in the maze? Fear not. The Mummy Maze is open all day, so you have plenty of time to escape. Our Magical Maze is included in the full entrance price, so take on the Woodland Witches while you’re here. 

Fearsome Fancy Dress

Dress your best at our fearsome fancy dress contest and have the chance to win a terrifyingly tremendous prize. Be a ghoul, witch, zombie or a creepy clown. There are lots of Halloween fancy dress ideas you can go off. So get creative and downright scary! 

Our team will be keeping their eyes on all trick-or-treaters throughout the day. At 4:15pm every day, we will choose the best fancy dress, so come along and see if you can take the prize.  

Halloween Street Show

Stockeld Park Theatre presents ‘Halloween Street‘! Our spookiest 30-minute Halloween show for all ages. Follow Luna Ticks as she journeys through Halloween Street and meets the wonderful inhabitants who call it home. 

Halloween Street will be on at 12pm, 1pm, 2:30pm and 3:30pm and is an additional charge to your park entry ticket. 

Zombie-Themed Laser Experience

Our family-friendly zombie laser experience is open to private parties and walk-in arrivals. Team up and fight for survival against your rival group in our laser adventure area. No actors will be present. It’s all left to you to beat the undead! 

We also offer zombie laser taster sessions too. This is perfect for those to taste what’s to come! Whatever your age, experience our action-packed laser tag and make memories in the great Yorkshire outdoors.
