From February 25th Stockeld park is the destination for winter weekends. We have a range of spectacular indoor and outdoor winter activities to suit kids, families and toddlers.

Stockeld Park is offering families the chance for amazing days out this winter.

Included in all tickets is entrance to the park, access to the Playhive, as well as the Enchanted Forest and Magical Maze.

Playhive

Stockeld Park is proud to have one of Europe’s largest indoor play centres right here in Yorkshire.

With four interconnected zones of space, air, jungle and sea, high level walkways and spiralling tunnel slides there is something for everyone, for kids and toddlers of all ages.

In fact, this is something that that whole family will enjoy exploring together. The Playhive is hours of fun playing indoors the perfect winter activity for kids.

The Enchanted Forest

Nestled in acres of woodland, the Enchanted Forest at Stockeld Park is guaranteed to delight, entertain, and tire out even the most energetic of little legs.

There are four wonderful adventure playgrounds hidden in our magical forest, with each path leading somewhere new there are opportunities to climb, explore and enchant.

Our Woodlands Cove situated halfway round the walk is the perfect place to stop and rest whilst the kids enjoy the sand pits, boats and famous Viking swing.

The children get fresh air and exercise, adults the same. There truly is something for everyone to be enjoyed together in a truly beautiful setting.

Farmer Foster’s Barnyard

Set in our open Parkland Meadow we have another extensive play area designed specifically for our younger visitors. There’s a big wooden tractor, monster trucks to climb into or take a ‘ride’ on, tunnels to crawl through and hills to roll down, and you guessed it, swings.

The Magical Maze

The Magical Maze is a delight for the entire family. Over 2 miles of paths intersect, and bamboozle in this 8 foot high labyrinth.

Designed by maze genius Adrian Fisher, our Magical Maze is an experience you simply cannot miss.  Climb our castle viewing towers and cross our bridges to discover a vast array of playful surprises with the entire family.

Plus, did we mention that it’s the largest Evergreen maze in Yorkshire, constructed out of our own Stockeld Park grown Yew trees – over 2000!

Our maze is truly where magical memories are made.

Spider’s Lair

For the more adventurous of us, both big and small, explore our Spider’s Lair. The climbing frames, zip wires, jungle, bridges and slides are sure to entertain and thrill, it really is the perfect winter activity for adventurous kids.

Playhive Pizzeria

All that playing and exploring is going to undoubtedly leave you hungry. The Playhive Pizzeria is a perfect place to refuel, catering for small and large appetites. We have freshly cooked pizzas, pasta dishes and jacket potatoes all for you to enjoy in our brand new, beautifully decorated indoor eating area.

To really offer flexibility and outstanding value, there are two tickets available to buy: Playhive Fixed Timeslot (1.5hrs) and Park and Playhive Anytime and Park. Both tickets grant access to the Playhive, Park and Enchanted Forest play areas with the anytime offering another layer of flexibility to your plans.
