Our First Retreat: Spofforth Lodge
Our very first property is a beautifully restored gate house at the entrance to the estate. It’s the perfect place to relax and enjoy some beautiful surroundings.

- Perfect for: Families. Designed with comfort and convenience in mind, it's the ideal place to unwind after a day of adventures at the Adventure Park or exploring the wider Yorkshire region.
Stay and Play at Stockeld
During our open season your stay includes entrance tickets to Stockeld Adventure Park. This includes the Enchanted Forest with five imaginative and themed adventure playgrounds, the Snowflake Yew Tree Maze, and the multi-award-winning Playhive (with the opportunity to add on activities according to the season, such as ice skating, Santa’s Grotto, go-karting, inflatables, and bumper boats, etc.).
The Adventure Park is open most weekends, and every local school holiday throughout the year, see our Opening Times to plan your stay.

Beyond the park
Stockeld Lodge is the perfect base for exploring our local area including Harrogate, Leeds, York, and Wetherby. Situated close to the A1 and local access roads we're also in the ideal spot for exploring the Yorkshire region.

There are plenty of dining options available in the local area; within a mile of Stockeld Lodge you have The Scotts Arms pub and restaurant in Sicklinghall, and The Castle Inn in Spofforth, both offering freshly prepared dishes every day.
In addition plenty of restaurants, cafes, and takeaways are located in Wetherby (2 miles away) and Harrogate (5 miles away) with menus to suit the whole family.
