Our First Retreat: Spofforth Lodge
Our very first property is a beautifully restored gate house nestled in the historic parkland of Stockeld Park. It’s the perfect place to relax and enjoy some beautiful surroundings. If you're seeking a family fun holiday combined with a peaceful countryside escape and a base for exploring Yorkshire's most beautiful landscapes, Stockeld Stays offers a unique blend of heritage, comfort and excitement!

Go Glamping in our new bell tents
Set within beautiful parkland, our bell tents are ready to welcome you. Each tent is thoughtfully furnished with four real beds, one cosy double and two singles, ideal for families and small groups.
Wake up to fresh country air, spend your day exploring the park, and unwind in the evening under the stars. Whether you're roasting marshmallows, sharing stories around the campsite, or simply enjoying the peaceful surroundings, glamping at Stockeld is a memorable escape from the everyday.

Your stay will give you free access to all that Stockeld Park has to offer. With over 40 acres of adventure play to explore, there's plenty to do to entertain the whole family!
Be on the lookout for magical creatures in our Enchanted Forest, explore our adventure playgrounds, get lost in our Magical Maze, go wild on our go-karts and inflatables, or journey through The Playhive filled with 20,000 square foot of indoor adventure playgrounds.

Stockeld is the perfect base for exploring our local area including Harrogate, Leeds, York, and Wetherby. Situated close to the A1 and local access roads we're also in the ideal spot for exploring the Yorkshire region.

There are plenty of dining options available in the local area; within a mile of the site you have The Scotts Arms pub and restaurant in Sicklinghall, and The Castle Inn in Spofforth, both offering freshly prepared dishes every day.
In addition plenty of restaurants, cafes, and takeaways are located in Wetherby (2 miles away) and Harrogate (5 miles away) with menus to suit the whole family.
