What's Included in My Ticket?

Most Stockeld Park tickets include access to the Playhive, Enchanted Forest, Magical Maze and outdoor playgrounds, although activities vary depending on the ticket you buy and the season you visit. Our guide explains exactly what's included with every ticket, along with optional add-ons such as boat rides, laser tag and train rides, which can help make the day that bit more special!

What's included in an All Day Entry Playhive and Adventure Park ticket?

Our All Day Entry Playhive and Adventure Park ticket includes access to: 

  • Playhive
  • 6 outdoor playgrounds
  • The Enchanted Forest
  • The Magical Maze
  • Pedal go-karting and outdoor inflatables (spring and summer only) 
  • Seasonal events, such as the Stockeld summer festival or pumpkin picking

These tickets are available almost every weekend of the year and throughout the school holidays. You can either book this all-day ticket with a 90-minute Playhive slot or opt for flexible entry, which lets you enter and leave the Playhive throughout the day. Either option grants you access from 9.30am on the day. If you want to come after 2pm, we also offer discounted late entry with a 90-minute in the Playhive.

What's included in a Playhive Only or Adventure Park Only ticket?

Our Playhive Only ticket covers 90-minute access in our indoor play area. This means you can't visit the wider Adventure Park, but you can still enjoy lots of fun indoors, which is ideal for rainy days or when your children need to burn off energy on the weekend or school holidays. 

For families who prefer outdoor fun, the Adventure Park Only ticket includes access to: 

  • The Enchanted Forest
  • 6 playgrounds
  • The Magical Maze
  • Outdoor activities such as inflatables and go-karting (available in spring and summer seasons only)
  • Seasonal events, such as Summer at Stockeld

This ticket option skips the Playhive, so if you want to include both, make sure to buy an all-day Playhive and Adventure Park ticket.

What's included in our seasonal tickets?

For every seasonal event, you can choose from one of our main core ticket types outlined above. Our seasonal events are included in all 'Adventure Park' tickets, so you can opt for an Adventure Park Only ticket or choose a Playhive and Adventure Park ticket to make it the ultimate day out.

Your entry ticket covers access to:

  • Themed trail in the Enchanted Forest
  • Indoor play in the Playhive
  • The Magical Maze

What's included in an Easter at Stockeld ticket?

You can enjoy plenty of Easter activities with little ones, such as:

  • Easter trail in the Enchanted Forest, complete with lively characters and interactive games
  • Meet and greet with the Easter Bunny
  • An Easter-themed activity in the Magical Maze
  • Giant egg-hunt 
  • 6 themed outdoor playgrounds

An Easter at Stockeld ticket doesn't include entry to the Buccaneer Boats or Flying Stocksman, which are only a few pounds more if you want a go.

Throughout May half-term, your Spring ticket includes:

  • Themed trail in the Enchanted Forest, with live-action characters and activities as you head along
  • The Magical Maze with a themed activity at every corner
  • Outdoor inflatables

  • Pedal go-karts

Open every day of the holidays, our summer ticket covers:

During the October half-term, a ticket to Stockeld covers:

  • A spooky Halloween trail led by the wicked Woodland Witches in the Enchanted Forest
  • Tractor ride and pumpkin picking (each pumpkin comes with small charge if you want to take one home) 
  • 6 outdoor playgrounds 
  • Spooky activity in the Magical Maze

**Tinsel Tot tickets include access to either the Enchanted Forest and Magical Maze, Playhive or ice skating for £8.50 per person. You can add a second activity from this list for just £3 more.

How to make the most out of your day at Stockeld Park

To experience all of Stockeld Park, we recommend an all day entry ticket, which allows access from 9.30am onwards and is available (almost) every weekend and daily during local school holidays. 

Follow our map to explore each area of the park, from the Magical Maze to the Enchanted Forest, which features outdoor playgrounds and animated characters scattered throughout. After that, head to any of the other outdoor activities or go to the indoor play area before lunch at our Pizzeria or Woodlands Cafe. If you're visiting during the holidays, even more seasonal activities will be on offer to fill your day.

Stockeld Park Ticket FAQs

Yes, you can bring your own picnic, but these can only be eaten in certain areas of the park. If you haven't come prepared, you can buy a quick snack, drink or meal at: 

Yes, parking is completely free at Stockeld Park. We have hundreds of spaces, including disabled parking bays. Make sure to follow our directions to the park if you're arriving by car or bus. 

Your ticket entry includes most activities, except for a few special add ons

  • Buccaneer Boats
  • Flying Stocksman 
  • Laser Tag

The following may also be an extra charge, depending on the ticket option you select: 

  •  Ice Skating
  • Playhive
  • Seasonal theatre shows

Other extra costs include buying food and drink or taking something from our gift shop. 

The all-day flexible entry ticket offers the best value as you can stay at our Adventure Park all day and come and go to the Playhive as much as you like. This ticket covers almost every activity aside from the optional add-ons: Buccaneer Boats, Flying Stocksman and laser tag. 

With a membership, you have unlimited access to our core activities (including a 90 minute Playhive slot per visit) and seasonal events for Easter, spring, summer or winter.These memberships stay at a fixed, affordable price, meaning that after just a few visits, you'll have paid off your membership! 

Please note that our memberships don't cover add-on activities or run during the Christmas season. You can, however, buy an ice skating membership if you're a keen skater!

No, laser tag is an add-on activity that you'll need to pay for at the time of booking. If you just want to do laser tag, you can book a game separately without needing an Adventure Park ticket. 

Planning a child's birthday party? You can book a laser tag party at Stockeld and have everything handled for you: the food, drink and entertainment!

Yes, you can book our glamping tents throughout the summer period and get free access to the park as part of your booking for the duration of your stay. 

You can also book Spofforth Lodge, a cosy Victorian gatehouse at the entrance of the park. With this booking you'll also receive discounted entry to the Adventure Park.
