We have a great selection of hidden interactive play activities to keep families entertained, including meeting Russell the talking tree or even better, sliding down our giant teapot slide! Slides don’t get much more Yorkshire than this!
Invade our Teepee Encampment playground or clamber and climb like a monkey in Tangle Tree Climb, our net adventure play area!
What’s more, we have amazing events taking place at Stockeld Park and the Enchanted Forest throughout the year, our eggstraordinary Easter Egg Hunt at Easter and this year we are bringing back our new Halloween forest event – where you can find the woodland witches in the forest, plus our live theatre production, the Halloween Street Show!
During the summer at Stockeld Park, you can enjoy the sunshine in Woodsands Cove, our large sandpit area filled with swashbuckling adventure play. Pick up ice cream from nearby Gretel’s Cabin and then continue your journey around our beautiful lake. Perfect for a relaxing family day out in Yorkshire!

Christmas is the season when things really light up in the magical Enchanted Forest. Our Winter Illuminations is one of England’s oldest, largest and most spectacular Christmas light events.
Our Enchanted Forest becomes an illuminated forest; a winter wonderland of magic, light and sound, filled with thousands of twinkling lights, as well as fairy-tale creatures and enchanting light installations. At the heart of the forest is a magical, musical light show on the lake – truly a winter illuminations experience like no other.

Stockeld Park is easily accessible by public transport or car. If you’re visiting the park by bus, find the bus timetable here. Look for the number 7 bus (Harrogate-Wetherby-Leeds), which will drop you right outside the park gates. If you’re driving over, use the postcode LS22 4AN to find us. We have plenty of parking, and it’s free!
