Join us for an immersive autumnal activity for the whole family! Hitch a lift to the Pumpkin Patch on our tractor ride and head into the field to select your very own pumpkin. Open every October weekend and daily from the 25th October until the 2nd of November 2025.

Home-grown Pumpkin Picking Leeds

This year, we've grown our pumpkins on the Stockeld Estate for an authentic picking experience. Get your wellies on and explore the field with your little one to find your perfect pumpkin. Choose from traditional carving pumpkins or go for a different variety for something unique*.

*Please note that there'll be a small charge for pumpkins.

Travel to the Pumpkin Patch in style

Join the farmyard fun and travel across the park to the Pumpkin Patch by tractor-trailer!

Catch the tractor at it's stop, which is located on the pathway to the Enchanted Forest. Tractors will arrive approximately every 15 minutes.

Or head over by foot using the signposted pathway - it's about a 5 - 7 minute walk from park to patch.

After selecting your pumpkins, you can travel back to the park via tractor on foot.

Halloween activities at the Patch

Pose with your pumpkin for seasonal snaps at our photo opportunities. Say cheese with our pumpkin wagon, speedboat, Tardis and more, which will be all set up at the patch. 

Keep an eye out for our jolly live-action friend, Scarecrow! He'll be at the patch looking after our precious pumpkins. Don't forget to say hello and snap a photo with him!

Feeling thirsty after all that pumpkin picking? Head to our refreshments cabin located at the patch for a selection of hot and cold drinks.

Important Information

The Pumpkin Patch is open every October weekend and daily from the 25th of October until the 2nd of November 2025.

Entry to the Pumpkin Patch and tractor ride are included in your ticket, but there is an additional charge for pumpkins if you'd like to buy one (or a few!) to take home. 

Prepare for mud! As our Patch is a working field, please dress for the conditions with appropriate clothing and footwear, especially in wet weather.

No – entry to the Pumpkin Patch and tractor ride are included in your ticket, but there will be a small additional charge applied to pumpkins if you’d like to buy one (or a few!) to take home.

The Pumpkin Patch is open every October weekend and daily from the 25th of October until the 2nd of November 2025.

The Pumpkin Patch is open from 9:30am until 5pm. The last tractor going from the park to the patch will be at 4:30pm, and the last tractor returning to the park from the patch will be at 5:15pm.

The tractor stop is located on the pathway to the Enchanted Forest. To find it, use the Enchanted Forest entrance located on the forecourt and follow the path. You’ll come across it before entering the forest itself.

Yes – tractors will be running in between the park and the Pumpkin Patch approximately every 15 minutes.

Yes! Our Pumpkin Patch is located in a working field, so prepare for mud! Please ensure you have appropriate clothing and footwear for the conditions, particularly in wet weather.
