Best Outdoor Activities at Stockeld Park

1. Enchanted Forest

What do magical fairies, talking trees and giant teapots have in common? They all live in our Enchanted Forest! Our ancient woodland has over 1.5 miles of hidden interactive play and themed playgrounds that’ll put your climbing skills to the test.

Let your kids run free while you relax, catch up and enjoy the fresh outdoor air. We’re holding our eggcellent Easter egg hunt during the March half-term, where your family can scavenge for delicious treats. Plus, you’ll meet the Easter Bunny, who only comes once a year and loves to hop around with your little bunnies!

2. Pedal Go-Karts

See if your little ones could be the next Lewis Hamilton and race around with our outdoor go-karts. Our go-karts have adjustable seats to fit children from ages five and above – parents and guardians included! 

It’s easy to get going. All you need to do is pedal and see who you leave behind in the dust. Remember, your children will need to wear helmets to keep safe. 

3. Buccaneer Boats

Take a peaceful boat ride around Enchanted Forest’s beautiful lake. Our electric boats accommodate two people; many are available, so you won’t be left waiting. 

You might see a mermaid – or even a creepy crocodile! Keep your eyes open and steer the boat across safe waters while you soak up some vitamin D. 

4. Outdoor Inflatables

Love to slide, jump and bounce? Well, you don’t want to miss our massive outdoor inflatable zone. Your kids will become gymnasts on our bouncy jumping pillow and slip down our huge double-lane inflatable slide, which offers endless fun.

If you have a competitive streak, head to our 100-foot inflatable obstacle course. You’ll bounce from obstacle to obstacle and slide down to the finish line. Who will win? Place your bets now! 

5. Outdoor Playgrounds

We have several adventure playgrounds waiting for kids of all ages. Crawl through tunnels, ride tractors in Farmer Foster’s Barnyard, or fly on Viking swings in Woodsands Cove.

The Teepee Encampment, Tangle Tree Climb and Spider’s Lair are just a walk away.  

The Enchanted Forest and playgrounds are open year-round. The other outdoor activities will reopen on March 23rd 2024.
