What to Expect From Spring Weekends at Stockeld Park

Long spring days and warmer weather are just around the corner, and with the return of the sun comes a whole season of outdoor activities at Stockeld Park! If you’re looking for something to do with the kids after a winter spent indoors, our Spring Weekend adventure is the perfect opportunity to make the most of the warm weather. 

Starting Saturday, 25th April, our Spring Weekends will run until Sunday, 12th July. During the May half-term holiday, the fun doesn’t stop! We’ll also be open Monday-Friday, bringing our park to life all weekend long during our Spring Adventure.

Here’s a taste of what you can look forward to during our Spring Weekends.

Bounce Into The Giant Inflatables Zone

Bounce, slide and jump in our giant inflatable zone, a firm favourite with kids of all ages! From our massive jumping pillow to our double-lane inflatable slide, there’s endless fun to be had.

For the more adventurous, our 100-foot inflatable obstacle course brings out the competitive streak in everyone. Race your way through obstacles and speed towards the big slide at the finish to be crowned the winner!

We know that the British weather can be unpredictable, which is why we offer an Inflatables Guarantee. If we need to close the inflatables due to heavy rain, our Inflatables Guarantee lets you come back and enjoy the outdoor park free of charge on another day.

Set Sail and Pedal Into Fun

Take to the lake and enjoy a relaxing boat ride nestled within the Enchanted Forest. Our Buccaneer Boats are ideal for sitting back, soaking up the sunshine and enjoying a peaceful moment on the water.

If you’re looking for something a bit more action-packed, then our pedal go-karts are the perfect activity for children and parents alike. Suitable for children aged 5 and up, they’re a brilliant way to burn off some energy and enjoy a bit of friendly competition with family.

Adventure Through The Enchanted Forest

The Enchanted Forest is bursting with adventurous activities! Home to just under a mile of interactive play areas and six themed playgrounds, children are free to explore, climb and run wild. From the Teepee Encampment to the Tangle Tree Climb and Woodsands Cove, there are plenty of areas to encourage imagination and discovery.

Along the Enchanted Forest trail, you’ll discover whimsical houses, animated characters and hidden surprises. There’s something new to discover around every corner! And while little ones run wild exploring, parents can sit back and enjoy a drink or snack from Gretel’s Cabin.
