Do parents and carers need an entry ticket? 

Yes, you can bring your own picnic, but these can only be eaten in certain areas of the park. If you haven't come prepared, you can buy a quick snack, drink or meal at: 

• The Playhive Pizzeria 
• Woodland Cafe
• Gretel's Cabin and other food & drink kiosks. (Opening times vary by season)

Yes, parking is completely free at Stockeld Park. We have hundreds of spaces, including disabled parking bays. Make sure to follow our directions to the park if you're arriving by car or bus. 

Your ticket entry includes most activities, except for a few special add ons

• Buccaneer Boats
• Flying Stocksman 
• Laser Tag

The following may also be an extra charge, depending on the ticket option you select: 

•  Ice Skating
• Playhive
• Seasonal theatre shows

Other extra costs include buying food and drink or taking something from our gift shop. 

The all-day flexible entry ticket offers the best value as you can stay at our Adventure Park all day and come and go to the Playhive as much as you like. This ticket covers almost every activity aside from the optional add-ons: Buccaneer Boats, Flying Stocksman and laser tag. 

With a membership, you have unlimited access to our core activities (including a 90 minute Playhive slot per visit) and seasonal events for Easter, spring, summer or winter.These memberships stay at a fixed, affordable price, meaning that after just a few visits, you'll have paid off your membership! 

Please note that our memberships don't cover add-on activities or run during the Christmas season. You can, however, buy an ice skating membership if you're a keen skater!

No, laser tag is an add-on activity that you'll need to pay for at the time of booking. If you just want to do laser tag, you can book a game separately without needing an Adventure Park ticket. 

Planning a child's birthday party? You can book a laser tag party at Stockeld and have everything handled for you: the food, drink and entertainment!

Yes, you can book our glamping tents throughout the summer period and get free access to the park as part of your booking for the duration of your stay. 

You can also book Spofforth Lodge, a cosy Victorian gatehouse at the entrance of the park. With this booking you'll also receive discounted entry to the Adventure Park.
