Summer Days Out at the Biggest Adventure Park in Yorkshire

Is it too soon to start talking about summer holidays? Your kids are surely counting down the days. Six weeks of total freedom seems great on paper. But this also means six weeks of keeping your kids engaged and active….

For many caregivers, the summer holidays can be more work than a break. Thankfully, Stockeld Park is open all summer to entertain your little ones.

We’re holding the Summer Adventure between July 20th and September 2nd, 2024. It will have a festival theme and be filled with exciting live entertainment and outdoor activities for all to enjoy. Let’s dive into what’s on offer.

What’s on During the Summer Adventure?

Live Entertainment

Ready to get your groove on? We’ve invited some amazing tribute acts and live singers to get everyone moving and grooving!

Every “Tribute” Tuesday, you can expect to hear covers of your favourite songs from Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran, Jessie J, Meghan Trainor and more. These acts will be performed from 1 p.m. on the main stage throughout July and August. But don’t miss out – they only make one guest appearance each!

Alongside tuning in to these pop icons, you’ll also have the chance to hear local artists every other day. Each singer will perform on different dates, so check our schedule and make a note of who you want to see.

Dance Parties

Bust out your best moves at our dance parties and silent discos every day on the main field. Our DJ has plenty of tunes you and your kids can’t help but dance to!

Whether you’re a pro or have two left feet, these dance activities will get everyone shouting for an encore. Just don’t show up your kids, as you’ll be thrown into an epic dance-off.

Family Game Shows

If you’ve ever solved the puzzling Magical Maze, you’re in luck – we have other activities to put your kids to the test. During summer, we’re hosting family game shows and competitions where everyone gets involved to win.

We’ll ask mind-boggling questions, play rounds of trivia and award the winning team a few well-earned treats! You might find your little one has a competitive streak and goes on to win the game for you!

Mascot Scout Shows

Scout the Squirrel is taking a break from his park responsibilities and holding exciting shows in the main field. He’ll also need your help finding the contents of his suitcase before he heads off on holiday.

While Scout is great at his job, he’s a bit nutty about keeping organised! Most of his belongings are scattered around the Enchanted Forest, so head there first.

Outdoor & Indoor Activities

Alongside all this summer fun, we’ll have the following activities open:

Magical outdoor play: Head to the ancient Enchanted Forest or explore the Magical Maze to discover the true beauty of Stockeld Park.
Outdoor playgrounds: Whether you’re looking to swing, slide or climb, we have five playgrounds across the adventure park.
Outdoor activities: Looking for a thrill? Our go-karts, inflatables, Buccaneer Boats, and tractor runs are great fun in the sun.
Indoor play area: Our award-winning Playhive is the perfect escape from hot or rainy weather and will keep your kids active for hours.
Indoor craft zone: Available every day in the main building, most are free, with a few having a small charge.
