Climb the castle viewing tower to look out over the tops of the trees to find your friends and get your bearings or cross bridges and discover playful surprises, musical instruments and some unexpected obstacles!
It’s the largest evergreen maze in Yorkshire and the 2000 yew trees used to make it were grown right here on the estate at Stockeld Park! At the heart of the maze is a unique sculpture, a revolving stainless-steel globe, designed by a Yorkshire schoolgirl who entered our children’s sculpture competition.
What’s more, you can visit us for The Christmas Adventure when we illuminate the Maze with a thousand twinkling lights, making it a unique and magical experience and the only illuminated maze in Yorkshire.

We’re very easy to find! If you’re driving over, type LS22 4AN into your maps or Sat Nav to be brought to our gates. Bare in mind during busy periods there will be traffic and queues so factor that into your times! For public transport, the number 7 bus (Leeds – Wetherby – Harrogate) passes by us.
