Now that the first half-term of the year is over, you can rest, recover and plan for what’s to come next: the Easter holidays! While your kids may be ecstatic, you might be left worrying about how best to make the most out of these two weeks. 

Easter 2025 will be from Saturday, April 5th, to Monday, April 21st. Every year, we hold a range of Easter activities for kids* to help families like yours get outside, discover something new and have fun! Here are our top things to do at Stockeld Park this Easter. 

* We’re open from Saturday the 5th to Monday the 21st of April between 9:30am and 5:30pm, so there are plenty of chances to visit Stockeld Park during your Easter break.

Join Our Forest Friends in an Easter Trail

Our friendly woodland animals have awakened from their cosy winter sleep in the Enchanted Forest. The magic of spring has filled the air, and these furry friends are now part human, part animal, just waiting for you to take part in our Easter trail! 

As you explore the woodlands, your kids will collect stamps and complete a fun activity with each of our four forest friends. You might meet Hiccup the Hedgehog, Squeaky the Squirrel, Munchkin the Mouse, Root the Rabbit and Flash the Fox if you’re lucky! At the end of the trail, you’ll receive chocolate treats for completing every activity. 

Throughout the forest, there are giant painted Easter eggs decorated as memorable characters. Let the team know who you see! 

Meet the Easter Bunny

Head down to Stockeld Theatre to meet the Easter Bunny himself! While our good ol’ Scout the Squirrel rests, the Easter Bunny will leave you with a spring in your step before you take on the Magical Maze.

Don't be surprised if the Easter Bunny is in a hurry – he's got a very important date to get to! Snap a photo with him quickly before he disappears for the year!

Hunt for Eggs in the Magical Maze

Our silly hen has hidden her sparkly golden eggs all around the Magical Maze! Some of the eggs are golden, but others might just give you a giggle! You won’t know if you’ve been yoked until you start your hunt. 

Keep count of all the eggs you find, whether they're gold or a silly yoke. If you can find all the eggs, you’re a winner! 

‘Eggstra’ Activities for the Family to Enjoy

Our adventure park offers activities to keep your little ones entertained all day long. Alongside our Easter plans, your kids can play on our five outdoor playgrounds and ride the Flying Stocksman through the park.
