Outdoor Easter Activities to Do With The Kids
5th Feb 2026
Easter Holidays at Stockeld Park
That time of year is here once again, and it’s time to decide what activities to do with the kids during the Easter holidays. But never fear, as here at Stockeld Park, we have plenty of outdoor activities that are sure to keep kids entertained and active!
Our Easter Adventure is back for 2026, running every day from Saturday, 28th March to Sunday, 12th April* and is jam-packed with things for kids to discover and explore. Below, we’ve rounded up all the top activities at Stockeld Park for Easter.
*The park will also be open every day from Monday, 13th April to Sunday, 19th April. While our Easter activities won’t be available that week, we’ll still have all our main activities and outdoor extras available for you to enjoy!
Egg-cellent Easter Activities
Meet the Hop Squad in the Enchanted Forest
Have you ever wondered how the Easter Bunny manages to deliver Easter eggs to everyone overnight? Just like Santa has his elves, the Easter Bunny has a team of busy bunny helpers, the Hop Squad!
When you venture into the Enchanted Forest, you’ll find that bunnies have moved in to make the forest their home for the holidays. Along the trail, meet Mari the Chief Storyteller, Daisy the Party Planner, Daffy the Head Chef and more, ready to say hello and help young explorers earn stamps to complete their Easter trail sheet.
Collect every stamp along the way, and at the end of the trail, kids will be rewarded with a delicious chocolatey treat!
Take a Picture With the Easter Bunny
Hop on down to the Stockeld Theatre to meet the main man himself, the Easter Bunny! He can’t wait to say hello to everyone! But remember, this is a very busy time of year for him, so he won’t be around for long.
Catch him hopping by at 11am, 12pm, 2pm, 3pm, and 4pm daily. He’ll be out for 20-minute intervals, so be sure to arrive early to take a picture.
Hop Around the World in the Magical Maze
Step into the Magical Maze and follow each twist and turn to discover fun surprises at every corner. As you wind your way through the yew trees, keep an eye out for eggs-pert facts revealing how Easter is celebrated around the world.
From Germany’s Easter egg traditions to Easter games in Greece, and even the Easter Bunny’s Australian friend, the Easter Bilby, there’s plenty to learn!
Spot the Yokes in the Enchanted Forest
The Hop Squad aren’t the only one to watch for in the Enchanted Forest! Our much-loved giant painted eggs are back, featuring familiar faces, along with some new designs for 2026, including the winning entry from last year’s design competition.
More Cracking Outdoor Activities
That’s not all Stockeld Park has to offer this Easter! Kids can let their imaginations run wild across six outdoor playgrounds, including the Spider’s Lair, Woodsands Cove and Teepee Encampment.
And parents, there’s fun for you too! Get pedalling through the meadow on our Go Kart track, or set sail across the lake on our Buccaneer Boats.
