Sublime Science at Stockeld Park this February Half-Term

Now your children are back to school, you’re either working or catching up on some well-needed rest (or chores!). But don’t forget… February half-term is near, meaning you’ll have a week to keep your little ones busy again.

The TV shows and toys just won’t do. And you might be left wondering, ‘What do I do?’. Well, no chemical potion can stop your kid’s boredom, but we have a formula for science-filled excitement!

That’s right – Sublime Science is coming to Stockeld Park! Keep reading to learn about our half-term activities and what fantastic workshop-style show are available.

February Half-Term Activities in Yorkshire

Is your February half-term looking quiet? Wrap up warm and join us for amazing half-term activities at Stockeld Park from February 10th to the 18th!

Our outdoor play areas allow your children to run, jump, slide, and swing. Choose from Farmer Foster’s Barnyard, Woodsands Cove, Teepee Encampment, Tangle Tree Climb, or Spider’s Lair. If your kids aren’t tired yet, head to the Magical Maze or Enchanted Forest, which will open their imaginations!

We’ll also open our ice skating rink to those eager to test their skating skills. If you arrive on a rainy day, fear not – we’ve covered our ice rink to protect you from the elements. Plus, we have an outstanding indoor playground to adventure around!

Who Is Sublime Science?

Sublime Science is an action-packed show that aims to make science fun for kids. In 2008, ‘Mad Marc’ (Marc Wileman) founded Sublime Science and later secured an investment in Dragons’ Den.

Mad Marc is a science whizz with a Master’s in Physics and a passion for inspiring the next generation of scientists! In one of Sublime Science’s shows, you’ll see magic tricks, smokey bubbles, fizzing potions and maybe even some gruesome slime, too!

Sublime Science Show

The wacky and wonderful Sublime Science is holding a 30-minute daily workshop-style show in the half-term at 12, 1:15, and 2:30pm. They are perfect for the whole family – especially for kids who want to keep their minds active!

During this show, you’ll interact with the mad scientist’s spectacular experiments and watch him make bubbles, smoke, slime and unforgettable magic tricks. It’s a slimetastic time with Sublime Science!
