February Fun: Half-Term Adventures for the Whole Family
13th Jan 2026
Shake off those winter blues with a fun-filled day at Stockeld Park! February half-term can be cold, dark and infinitely long, but with us it can be a week of adventure, discovery and excitement for kids (and grown-ups too).
Discover what we’ve got in store for you this half-term. We’re sure you’re going to love it!
When is February Half-Term 2026?
In Leeds, the February half-term holiday runs from Monday the 16th to Friday the 20th of February 2026. Stockeld Park will be open for half-term fun from the 14th through to the 22nd to help you entertain the kids.
Stockeld Park’s Half-Term Show: Once Upon a Showdown
Our half-term show is back! We’ll be playing host to the sing-off of the century every day during half-term at 12:30pm, 1:30pm, 2:30pm and 3:30pm.
For 30 minutes, you’ll join the beautiful Fairy Godmother and the enigmatic Captain Hook as they battle it out (via song!) to become the ruler of Stockeld Park! We need the whole family to sing, clap and cheer along to help crown the champion of Stockeld Park.
The show is available as an upgrade to your park ticket for an additional £3 per person.
Once Upon a Showdown Forest Trail
After you’ve seen the show, the Enchanted Forest has a trail for the kids to run off some energy! Can you spot the Shield of Courage? What about the Forest Dragon or the Crystal of Power?
The forest is packed with items left behind by heroes and villains, ready for you to find and check off the trail sheet!
Indoor Play at the Playhive
Weather not playing ball? Whether it’s raining cats and dogs or it’s blowing a gale, the Playhive is here to save the day. A huge indoor adventure playground with four different themed zones, there’s plenty for kids of all ages - and grown-ups too!
Book the Playhive with your park ticket for an hour and a half.
Ice Skating
Our ice rink is open until the end of February half-term, giving you one last chance to get the kids on the ice before winter ends! It’s a great activity for the whole family (and, bonus, it’s good for you too!).
Sessions are unlimited, and you can book skate-only tickets or add them as extras to your park ticket!
Food & Drink
Our park is full of options for food and drink, whether it’s a cosy hot chocolate for the forest trail, or a cheesy pizza for a kid-friendly lunch.
Our bright and buzzing Playhive pizzeria is perfect for a post-play refuel, serving pizza, pasta, jacket potatoes and more.
If it’s something a little lighter you’re after, then the Woodland Cafe’s cosy vibe could be just the thing! We’re talking sandwiches, paninis and sausage rolls for a quick bite.
