What to Expect in Our Christmas Adventure

The season of making merry, enjoying the festive season and making yuletide memories will soon be upon us, as we couldn’t be more excited. Our Christmas Adventure is the ideal way to celebrate Christmas - so what have we got in store for you this year?

Santa’s Arrival Weekend

On the 22nd and 23rd of November, Santa and Mrs Claus will arrive at Stockeld Park! They’ll lead the Christmas parade that includes his real-life reindeer, and then they’ll get in their magical horse-drawn carriage and take a tour around the park. 

Santa’s Grotto

Journey through the North Pole village to Father Christmas’s Grotto, where your little ones can play whimsical games and meet Santa’s elves. Then it's time to meet the big man himself, who has a special gift for every child. Cherished memories await!

Winter Illuminations

Our Enchanted Forest has been turned into a winter wonderland! Think joyful illuminated installations, projections and sculptures, as well as festive animations and soundscapes - whether you’re taking the family or you’re going with friends, you’re guaranteed to be wowed by these magical winter illuminations. 

Ice Skating

Our ice rink is the perfect place to celebrate Christmas with family or friends. It’s covered, so you can party on the ice, whatever the weather decides to throw at us! If your little ones aren’t yet confident on the ice, we have skating aids available to support them while they find their feet.

Christmas Theatre Show

Christmas isn’t complete without a panto! We’re delighted that Talegate Theatre is joining us this Christmas, putting on a festive panto that’s packed with magic tricks, sing-along tunes and classic panto traditions. At only half an hour, it’s perfect for little kids and big kids alike!

Snowflake Maze

Our Snowflake Maze is something to behold! As the largest evergreen maze in Yorkshire, you're sure to get lost in amongst its illuminated twists and turns. Step inside and you’ll discover bridges, musical instruments and other curios to pique the imagination! 

Christmas Tree Shop

Picking out the perfect Christmas tree is a quintessential festive activity. There’s nothing more cosy or jolly than finding the one for you, taking it home and letting that pine scent fill your house before decorating it. 

Our beautiful Christmas trees are all pre-cut and pot-grown on the estate by our expert team, and available in our purpose-built Christmas shop.
