A great day out should be easy for everyone to enjoy. Accessible pathways, nearby facilities and plenty of space to explore make all the difference when you have the grandkids. 

At Stockeld Park, our main walkways are tarmacked, making them easy to navigate with pushchairs and wheelchairs. Even our indoor play area, ice rink, Santa’s grotto, and other facilities are wheelchair-accessible. We also have lots of seating throughout the park, so when the kids tire you out, you can catch your breath and relax.

Activities for Different Ages

When you’re out with the grandchildren, you’re likely dealing with a mix of ages, so it’s helpful to choose a destination that offers something for everyone. After all, no one wants to be left out! 

Your grandchildren, even ones as young as two years old, can take part in activities like:

• Exploring all six outdoor playgrounds and Enchanted Forest

• Having fun in our indoor play area, the Playhive, with a toddler zone for younger guests

At Stockeld Park, you'll find facilities conveniently located throughout the park, including accessible toilets and baby changing facilities. If the little ones need to refuel, there are a variety of food and drink options available at the Playhive Pizzeria, Woodland Cafe and Gretel’s Cabin. 

Does Stockeld Park Offer Discounts for Seniors?

Yes, we offer discounted tickets for adults aged over 60. A senior ticket includes all-day entry to our adventure park and 90 minutes of access to the Playhive.

We ask that all guests bring a form of ID in case we need to verify their age (take this as a compliment!).
