What Is the Best Indoor Adventure Park in Yorkshire?

The last month has been a bit wet. In January alone, we battled Storms Isha and Jocelyn, which threw many of our outdoor plans out the window. By now, your kids are cooped up, and with February half-term on its way, they’re itching to blow off some steam!

Our adventure park is open to families and children all season round! That’s why, in 2022, we opened Playhive, one of Europe’s largest indoor play areas. Want to take a tour?

Playhive – The Ultimate Indoor Adventure Play Park

The Playhive is an indoor adventure park like no other. As you enter, you’re greeted by four interconnected worlds of space, air, sea and jungle. Each area is a colourful adventure that lets your children’s imaginations go wild.

Fly spaceships and meet friendly aliens in our space zone. See the world from a bird’s view across high-level crossways and venture into our air-themed playground, which desperately needs ambitious pilots!

As you conquer air and space, tackle the jungle, where you can climb beastly animals like King Kong. For keen swimmers, head to our world of sea adventures, where you’ll sail boats and submarines. But beware! Our giant whale must just gobble you up! The Playhive at Stockeld Park

Not tired yet? Head to our central green tower with a huge helter-skelter slide guaranteed to end in roaring screams and laughter. The Playhive also includes a play area for toddlers so no one is left out.

Important Playhive Information

We want to make our indoor adventure park fun for everyone, so we’ve listed everything you need to know before arriving.

Keep an eye on your children as they venture through the Playhive. All parents must supervise children under the age of 16 to avoid bumps and bruises.
Store your pram or buggy outside in the buggy park so there’s plenty of space for adventure.
Store your shoes, bags and loose items in our secure lockers.
Purchase a pair of Play Slippers from our vending machine – no bare feet or shoes are allowed!
Need the toilet? Our toilets are just outside the play area, so please accompany your children if they need to go.

Our Playhive is open all day, so book an Anytime ticket to get the most out of the indoor play area. If you’re tight on time, grab our Fixed package, which includes 1.5 hours of fun-filled adventure!

Children’s Parties at Stockeld Park

Celebrate your kid’s birthday with a Playhive and Adventure Party Package. Our children’s parties include 1.5 hours of access to the play area and a selection of delicious pizza, snacks, and drinks in the Playhive Pizzeria.
