Where to See Santa in Yorkshire 2026
1st Sept 2026
Families looking for a magical Christmas day out with a chance to meet Father Christmas himself can visit Stockeld Park. During Christmas at Stockeld, the festive fun goes beyond Santa’s Grotto, with our Winter Illuminations, Snowflake Maze and ice skating waiting to be enjoyed.
When Can I Visit Santa?
Santa’s Grotto* at Stockeld Park is open from 21st November to 24th December 2026. The Grotto is open daily from 9:40am to 6:40pm, except on Christmas Eve, when it closes at 5:40pm so Santa can get ready for his big night of delivering presents!
*A visit to Santa’s Grotto is included in our Gold and Silver Christmas tickets only. When purchasing a Tinsel Tots or Illuminations Mid-Week Meal Deal ticket, you can add a visit to see Santa for an additional £12 per child.

To ride in our enchanted elevator up to Santa’s cosy log cabin, where Mrs Claus will be waiting to welcome you.
-
To get your little ones to sit down with Santa, tell him everything they want for Christmas and take a photo to capture the moment.
-
To receive a special Christmas gift from Santa!
You can enjoy a whole host of other magical activities at Stockeld Park during the Christmas season:
